Job Description:

This travel opportunity involves floating between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius, with responsibilities centered on assessing and managing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients. You'll evaluate triage patients over 20 weeks, perform fetal assessments, and monitor labor progress. During intrapartum shifts, you'll prepare expectant mothers for delivery, administer medications like Pitocin and magestrol, and stabilize newborns—sometimes in urgent situations requiring quick thinking. Postpartum, you'll care for new mothers and their babies, including procedures like newborn medication administration and assisting with circumcisions. This role offers a chance to apply your expertise across a variety of obstetric settings, ensuring both maternal and neonatal safety in a fast-paced environment.
