Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract position at a leading teaching and magnet acute care hospital in Glenview, Illinois. You'll be an integral part of the OR team, specializing in ophthalmology, vascular, and general surgeries, including complex DaVinci robotic procedures. This role offers a chance to work in state-of-the-art facilities with 16 fully equipped ORs, scrubbed and circulating for a variety of surgical cases. Expect to scrub and circulate ophthalmology cases such as cataract extraction and vitrectomy, as well as vascular surgeries like aneurysm repairs and carotid stenting. The schedule features weekday days from 07:00 to 15:30, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and opportunities for call coverage, including weekends and holidays. Your experience will be vital in maintaining high standards of patient safety and operative efficiency in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This assignment is ideal for an experienced OR RN with at least two years of scrub and circulator experience, particularly in vascular and ophthalmologic procedures, ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role.
