Job Description:

Join a vibrant pediatric hospital in Seattle as a PICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This role offers the chance to work in a 407-bed teaching facility that is also a Level I Trauma center and Magnet designated. You’ll be caring for critically ill children in a 20-bed PICU or larger, with a focus on independence and expert judgment. Expect to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, with a schedule that runs Monday through Sunday. The unique scheduling allows for flexibility in your nights off and weekends scheduled in advance. Travelers will be scheduled for six weekends over the course of the assignment, with opportunities to float within the unit after completing orientation. This position is tailored for experienced PICU RNs with at least two years of independent PICU experience, and certification in PALS and BLS is required. You’ll be a vital part of a team that values professionalism and expertise, while the hospital atmosphere is both dynamic and supportive. You'll experience the chance to precept new staff and adapt to the evolving needs of a busy pediatric intensive care unit.
