Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a night shift contract in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you'll provide essential care to adult and geriatric patients in a 36 to 48-hour guaranteed schedule, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll be responsible for managing a patient load of approximately 5-6 per nurse in a busy renal and med-surg setting, utilizing Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. This assignment offers a chance to experience a fast-paced environment, where your expertise in renal and surgical care makes a tangible difference. Expect to navigate a unit with an average census of 48 patients across 49 rooms, with floating within scope as needed, and contribute to a team that values efficient, quality care in a setting that keeps you engaged and challenged.
