Job Description:

Step into the role of a Registered Nurse on a specialized 36-bed Neuroscience/High-Risk Respiratory unit in Dayton. This contract focuses on high-acuity neuro and respiratory patient care during 12-hour night shifts. You'll be working in a setting where team nursing models are common, with a mix of RNs, LPNs, and PCTs collaborating to deliver comprehensive care. Experience with ventilator management, high-flow oxygen therapies, and EPIC electronic medical records will be essential. The assignment offers a hands-on opportunity to develop expertise in neuro and respiratory patient skills, all while supporting a unit that cares for patients with cerebrovascular incidents, seizures, and complex respiratory needs. Be prepared for floating across closely situated campuses and working every other weekend and holiday to keep the unit running smoothly.
