Job Description:

This labor and delivery RN contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy setting that handles both antepartum and postpartum care. The role involves floating between units, including Nursery and Post Partum, and managing a variety of patient needs from neonates to adolescents and adults. Expect to be engaged in activities such as caring for neonates, administering medications like Magnesium and Pitocin, performing SVE, and assisting with procedures like Circumcisions and heel sticks. The schedule is intense yet rewarding, with 12-hour rotating shifts that provide consistent blocks of 3-6 weeks, offering a good balance of work and rest. It’s a chance to experience a dynamic environment where your skills in labor and delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery are essential for success.
