Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract offers a hands-on role working with adult and geriatric patients requiring critical care support. The assigned setting involves complex respiratory procedures including extubation, nasal airway placement, suctioning, and tracheostomy care. You'll be administering a variety of inhaled medications like albuterol, Atrovent, and Pulmicort, while managing advanced oxygen therapies such as BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula. The shift is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., providing a unique overnight experience in a trauma level 1 environment. This role is perfect for seasoned respiratory therapists who thrive on technical precision and independent decision-making in a fast-paced ICU setting.
