Job Description:

Join a vibrant team on the PCU Head, Neck, and Plastics unit for a travel nursing adventure that combines clinical expertise with a dash of variety. You'll be floating between patient rooms, managing telemetry monitors, and collaborating with a talented staff at a teaching hospital. This role requires a proactive nurse comfortable with night shifts, weekend coverage, and a fast-paced environment. Your skill set with ACLS, BLS, and NIH standards will keep patient safety at the forefront. Epic experience and prior teaching hospital background will help you navigate with confidence. Remember, this is a local-free zone for travelers within 100 miles, so prepare for an out-of-town experience in Kentucky's charming city.

Weather:

During this time of year, the weather tends to be mild with a pleasant balance of sunny days and cooler evenings. It's an ideal season for outdoor activities and exploring the local scenery without the extremes of summer or winter climes.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Historic Horse Farm Tour: Experience the legendary Kentucky Derby trail with a visit to nearby horse farms.
  • Cumberland Falls Day Trip: Enjoy a scenic excursion to see the breathtaking "Niagara of the South."
  • Lexington Art Walk: Explore local galleries and public art installations downtown.
