Job Description:

This travel RN position in the CVICU offers the opportunity to work with complex cardiac and vascular patients recovering from open heart surgeries, thoracic procedures, and interventions supported by devices such as Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO. Expect to care for patients stabilized after procedures like EVARs, carotids, and TAVR, as well as those coming from cath labs, structural heart programs, and EP labs. The role involves titrating various drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics. You'll be part of a unit supported by hospitalists and intensivists 24/7, with a staffing ratio of 1:1 and no CNAs. This assignment presents a unique chance to refine skills in a high-acuity setting while engaging in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise makes a difference.
