Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Morgantown, West Virginia, for a 13-week travel contract that offers a unique opportunity to work with critically ill children in a challenging yet rewarding setting. This role involves caring for patients with complex diagnoses such as congenital heart issues, respiratory problems, neurosurgical needs, and ventilator dependency. You'll be responsible for titrating sedation and vasoactive drips, working closely with physicians to manage patient stability. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour rotating shift, giving you a chance to experience a range of day and night shifts. The facility fosters a collaborative environment where you'll have access to in-house pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and a dedicated support staff. This assignment is an excellent fit for RNs with at least two years of PICU experience seeking a diverse and engaging nursing challenge in a supportive community setting.
