Job Description:

Join a specialized surgical team in Bismarck, North Dakota, as a surgical assistant for a contract role focused on cardiovascular and general surgical procedures. This assignment offers the chance to assist with complex surgeries such as CABG, angiograms, endarterectomies, valve replacements, and AAA repairs, along with a variety of other specialties including orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, and plastics. You'll work at both the main hospital surgery center and an outpatient facility across the street, supporting a high-volume surgical schedule during 8-hour night shifts. This role involves daily prep for surgeries, assisting with a broad spectrum of procedures, and ensuring smooth operation of equipment like computerized charting systems, laparoscopic towers, and cauteries. The environment is fast-paced, requiring diligent attention to detail and teamwork, all while supporting excellent patient outcomes behind the scenes. If you have at least two years of relevant experience and Hold certifications like BLS and ACLS, this is your chance to put your skills to work in a vibrant surgical setting.

Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
