Join a reputable medical-surgical unit on the 4th Floor North & South, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts and be part of a team managing a variety of patient conditions such as joint replacements, fractures, COPD exacerbations, and sepsis. This role offers an engaging daily rhythm that challenges your clinical skills and on-the-spot decision-making. You'll be responsible for titrating drips including Heparin, Lidocaine, and Ketamine, and interpreting telemetry strips with support from Tele techs. Expect to coordinate care in a fast-paced setting with a focus on hourly rounding, responsiveness, and multicultural patient interaction. Additional details: Must have a valid driver’s license, be within 50 miles radius, and not be full-time or PRN with facilities associated with CommonSpirit. The role involves supporting a busy Med Surg/Tele unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, including float requirements to other MedSurg areas, with emphasis on teamwork, good attendance, and responsiveness to patient needs.
