Job Description:

Join a specialized interventional radiology unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where you'll work in one of two state-of-the-art IR suites. Your role will involve performing procedures such as PICC line placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, kyphoplasty, ablations, port placements, ESI, and treatments for PE and stroke. As part of a dedicated team of four IR nurses and four IR techs, you’ll experience a collaborative environment with a manageable patient load—around 10 per room—using advanced equipment like Philips biplane and Toshiba single plane systems. This assignment offers the chance to hone your IR skills in a fast-paced, procedure-focused setting, all while working the daytime shift with on-call duties every third to fourth weekend and one weeknight. It’s a fantastic opportunity for hardworking team players eager to dive into diverse interventional procedures in a challenging yet rewarding atmosphere.
