Job Description:

Join our team for a travel assignment in the PCU / IMC / Med Surg unit where you'll be a vital part of a busy and well-organized team. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, caring for a variety of patients with diagnoses like pneumonia, post-operative knees and hips, and fall injuries. The environment features a mix of ICU and step-down patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio that maintains excellent patient care standards. Your responsibilities will include titrating drips such as Heparin and Cardizem, interpreting telemetry strips, and collaborating with a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Charge nurses may assign small patient loads or step into leadership roles, providing a unique chance to gain supervisory experience. This role is perfect for experienced RNs who excel at documentation, quick critical thinking, and working efficiently in a team setting, especially those familiar with Cerner and tele monitoring.
