Job Description:

Join a committed team of healthcare professionals in a facility featuring 24 inpatient beds and accommodating up to 10 observation patients daily. As a traveler in this role, you will work 12-hour night shifts, providing acute care for patients with diagnoses such as COPD, cellulitis, UTI, and post-surgical recoveries. You’ll engage in team nursing with LPNs, manage patient ratios of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at 11pm, and handle diverse cases, including small pediatric populations when needed. This assignment offers an opportunity to demonstrate your proficiency in MS/MS Tele experience and acute care settings, with limited onsite resources requiring independence, especially in IV starts and monitoring. The role involves being a relief charge nurse and floating across units, giving you versatility and a broad perspective within the hospital environment. Experience with TURPS-CBI procedures and Critical Access or Trauma Level 3/4 settings is preferred, making this a unique chance to deepen your skills in a challenging yet rewarding setting.
