Job Description:

This travel RN position in Iron Mountain, MI, offers a chance to engage in a diverse range of inpatient tasks within a 24-bed medical telemetry unit. The role involves managing patients with conditions like cellulitis, UTI, COPD, sepsis, and post-surgical recoveries, including ortho, chole, and appendectomy cases. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, primarily covering weekends and holidays, with the opportunity to float to similar units as needed. The assignment provides hands-on experience with IV starts, tele arrhythmia interpretation, and a high patient acuity environment. You'll be supported by a team of nurse aides, in-house hospitalists, and 24/7 RT coverage. This role is suited for RNs with at least one year of acute care experience and familiarity with critical access or trauma-level settings.
