Job Description:

Step into a Level III NICU where you'll be part of a team caring for critically ill newborns in a well-organized open bed concept unit. This role involves managing a variety of complex cases such as prematurity, RDS, hypoglycemia, and bilirubin, with an emphasis on attending deliveries for infants under 36 weeks and assisting with APGAR scores. Your expertise in titrating drips—including antibiotics, surfactant, TPN, and epi—will be vital in providing the specialized care these fragile babies require. The unit features a 22-bed setup with a nurse station centrally located for effective supervision. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, with a schedule that offers valuable flexibility, including weekends and holidays, encouraging a strong work-life balance. No patient care techs are assigned to this unit, so your skills in neonatal nursing and independent critical thinking are essential. Neonatologists are on-site 24/7, with NNP support overnight, offering a collaborative environment where your experience can truly shine. This assignment provides an engaging experience with a focus on family-centered care, all while working in a modern facility with hospital-provided scrubs and a thorough two-shift orientation.
