You'll be part of an Inclement Weather Team, prepared to respond to storm or disaster events, and may be involved with COVID patient care. The position emphasizes teamwork in fast-paced Med/Surg units, with a focus on real-time documentation using EPIC and PYXIS systems. As a night charge nurse, you'll oversee patient care in a unit averaging 43 patients during your shift, with a shift timing from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days, and all travelers must pass EKG testing prior to start. Your expertise in Epic, BCLS certification, and experience with insulin/heparin drips will ensure you hit the ground running in this impactful role.
