Job Description:

This stepdown/telemetry RN position offers a night shift opportunity in Henderson, Kentucky, where you'll be responsible for managing a stepdown/PCU patient population with conditions like sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, and post-surgical cases. Your role will involve initiating and titrating insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips, along with performing assessments and critical thinking to provide quality care. The assignment takes place in a smaller, well-supported facility that values teamwork, with a fixed shift being 12-hour nights. Expect to float within your skill set and occasionally across nearby campuses, including many scenarios that require quick adaptation and a resilient approach to variable patient needs. Engage with EPIC charting and work alongside a seasoned nursing team committed to patient safety and excellence.
