Job Description:

Join an inpatient locked behavioral health unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll care for adult patients with diverse mental health conditions including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety, and personality disorders. This 27-bed unit houses involuntary patients, offering a unique experience in managing complex cases and working alongside a dedicated team. Your shift will be 12 hours during daytime hours, providing an opportunity to focus on quality care and patient stabilization. Be prepared to float within the specialty as needed, ensuring you're adaptable and ready for various clinical scenarios. First-timers are welcome, and experience in behavioral health is required. Certifications in Iron Temple Training are necessary, with a small out-of-pocket cost. Fluency in Spanish or Creole is highly preferred to facilitate communication with a diverse patient population.
