Job Description:

Join a rewarding travel assignment as a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Rochester, NY, where you'll experience the energy of a vibrant city while providing specialized care to adult patients. This role focuses on managing a patient load with a 1:5 to 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio, handling cardiac monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and responding swiftly to emergencies with rapid response and code teams. You’ll chart using Epic, perform IV therapy and phlebotomy, and ensure safety through strict isolation precautions. The busy shift runs 12 hours from 07:00 to 19:00, every other weekend, giving you ample time to explore local sights and enjoy the city life. This assignment offers a unique chance to apply your clinical expertise in a high-acuity hospital setting, all while experiencing the cultural richness of Rochester.
