Job Description:

Join an esteemed trauma teaching hospital in Washington, D.C., as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. In this role, you'll be the backbone of the surgical team, assisting in a variety of procedures across 9 dedicated OR rooms. Your expertise will help keep the operating suite running smoothly during 12-hour day shifts, working every other weekend and holiday. This assignment offers a unique chance to experience a bustling metropolitan setting, with the opportunity to float within the OR department as needed. Be prepared for two night call shifts and three weekend call shifts per month—an excellent way to stay engaged and hone your skills in a fast-paced environment. Use your seasoned OR experience to navigate complex procedures and support surgical teams, all while enjoying the vibrant culture and history of D.C.
