Job Description:

Join our team as a MedSurg/Tele RN for a contract position in a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital that’s known for managing complex cases and providing specialized care. You’ll be working night shifts, 12 hours each, in a lively unit with a 30-bed census. The role involves caring for patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, A-Fib, respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-op cardiac procedures. You’ll manage various skills including chest tube management, IV insertions, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and medication titration like insulin and heparin drips. Keep your clinical skills sharp while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a facility that supports your growth with extensive resources including a resource nurse and around-the-clock RT, hospitalist, and intensivist support. This assignment is perfect for experienced MedSurg nurses ready to handle a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment, offering an engaging opportunity to refine your expertise and work as part of a tight-knit team.
