Job Description:

Join the team at Mercy Hospital Joplin as a Registered Nurse on the 7 Cardiac Med Tele floor for a 12-hour night shift assignment. This contract offers the chance to work with post-cardiac cath patients, those with atrial fibrillation, CHF, and other medical cardiology cases. You'll be responsible for managing IV infusions like insulin gtts, Precedex, and titrating medications such as nitroglycerin and Cardizem, along with caring for patients with pacemakers and non-titrated cardiac drips. The role requires a dependable team player who can handle a patient ratio of 1:6 and utilize EPIC electronic medical records, with a focus on cardiac stabilization and post-procedure care. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to hone specialized skills in a seasoned cardiology unit while contributing to a reputable institution that values patient-centered care.
