Job Description:

Step into a rewarding med-surg/telemetry RN role within a prominent Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital in Macon, Georgia. You'll be integral to a team managing a diverse patient population, including those with acute and chronic illnesses, post-op recoveries, and co-morbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart failure. Your daily routine involves performing comprehensive clinical assessments, managing IV lines—including central lines, chest tubes, and wound drains—and interpreting cardiac telemetry data. The assignment features 12-hour night shifts, offering a unique chance to hone your skills in a busy, collaborative environment where teamwork is essential. Expect to handle complex cases like insulin drips, heparin infusions, and trach care, all while coordinating discharge planning and patient education.
