Job Description:

This registered nurse role is based on a dynamic Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit within a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital. You will be caring for a diverse patient population with conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, post-op surgeries, and chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension. Expect to perform advanced assessments, manage chest tubes, IV lines, and drips—including insulin and heparin—and interpret telemetry for cardiac monitoring. The assignment offers a hands-on experience with a team that relies on your clinical expertise for patient stabilization and discharge planning, all while navigating a busy, team-oriented environment. Your focus will be delivering safe, precise, and compassionate care in a setting where every shift offers opportunities to apply and grow your med-surg skills.
