Job Description:

Join a busy Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital in Macon, GA, for an engaging RN Med-Surg/Tele contract. This role involves managing post/pre-cardiac and step-down ICU patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, and sepsis. Your day-to-day activities will include cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, trach care, chest tube management, IV starts, and insulin drips. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and clinical assessment are key. The unit boasts a staff with 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist, and RT support, all working together to ensure smooth patient transitions and optimal outcomes. This is a chance to sharpen your med-surg skills while experiencing the unique rhythm of a Level 1 trauma center that values collaboration and expertise.
