Job Description:

This RN role in MedSurg/Telemetry offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital with 637 licensed beds. You'll manage a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from strokes, brain injuries, post-op surgeries, and those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart failure. The shift is 12 hours during the day, and you'll be part of a dedicated team handling patient ratios of approximately 1:4-6 for nurses and 2-3 for CNAs. Your responsibilities include IV care, wound management, cardiac monitoring, and coordinating discharge plans. Expect a fast-paced setting where clinical assessment and multitasking are essential, and you'll have the chance to utilize advanced equipment like telemetry monitors, IV pumps, and glucomanders. The role emphasizes active teamwork and patient-focused care, set in a hospital that values its staff's skill and commitment.
