Job Description:

Join our team as a Med/Surg RN at a prominent teaching hospital in Macon, Georgia. In this role, you'll be providing specialized care to adult inpatients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including cardiac conditions, post-surgical recovery, and chronic disease management. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6, where your assessment skills, IV maintenance, chest tube management, and telemetry interpretation will be essential. You'll also collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and support discharge planning efforts. This assignment offers the chance to manage complex cases, perform drips such as heparin and Insulin, and navigate telemetry monitoring—all in a hospital dedicated to trauma, stroke, and chest pain care. A playful twist: your expertise will keep this busy unit humming smoothly, like a well-oiled machine.
