Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity on a specialized Progressive Care Unit in Hilo, Hawaii. As a Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, strip reading, and fingerstick blood sugar assessments in a 15-bed unit that includes a step-down ICU and telemetry beds. The role involves float responsibilities across various acute care units including medical, surgical, pediatric, ICU, and emergency departments, providing a diverse and dynamic workflow. Expect to work scheduled shifts totaling 36 hours weekly, with no call requirements, in a setting that values precision and patient safety, while offering the chance to experience the unique local environment of Hilo.
