Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse position places you in the heart of Christiansburg, VA, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse range of critical care patients on a 12-bed CCU unit, including ventilated patients, those with respiratory failures, sepsis, and other complex medical conditions. Your day-to-day tasks will include IV therapy with arterial lines and PICC line care, medication administration, assisting with procedures like chest tube placements, and supporting ventilator management. This role offers a chance to apply your expertise in a Level III trauma center, floating within your skillset when needed, and collaborating closely with physicians to deliver high-level critical care. The assignment promises a challenging yet rewarding experience as you help stabilize and treat seriously ill patients in a lively, fast-paced environment.
