Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a 46-bed surgical unit specializing in trauma, post-bariatric, abdominal, and amputation surgeries, as well as urological, medically complex, and cardiac overflow cases. This MS/Tele Registered Nurse contract offers a 12-hour day shift, providing a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a fast-paced, diverse environment. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and caring for surgical patients, ensuring their recovery progress, and assisting with postoperative needs. This role is perfect for experienced nurses who enjoy a challenge and want to make a tangible difference in patient outcomes. Be prepared to work with patient ratios typically between 1:5-6, sometimes up to 1:7, especially during call-ins. The hospital is actively onboarding new travelers to support the team, and there’s an option for PCT support to help lighten the workload. This assignment provides a chance to gain valuable surgical nursing experience while working in a supportive setting with a variety of patient conditions.
