Job Description:

This respiratory care role involves providing specialized support in a busy hospital setting, primarily during overnight hours. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, covering weekends and holidays, with optional on-call duties. The position emphasizes skills in arterial punctures, airway management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, pulmonary toileting, nebulization, BiPAP, and CPAP. This assignment offers the chance to work within ICU and emergency department environments, where your high level of independence and emotional intelligence will be essential to managing adult and geriatric patients effectively. Expect to float within your scope as needed to meet the hospital's needs, all while contributing to the care of critically ill patients in this short-term acute care hospital with 388 beds.
