Job Description:

Join our wound care team for an engaging contract opportunity in the inpatient setting where you'll be the key player managing a high-volume consult schedule. Your days will be filled with reviewing patient consults, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, performing head-to-toe assessments, and placing wound care orders. Expect to work with advanced treatments such as wound vacs and various dressings, focusing on complex wounds like pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds. This role combines technical expertise with collaborative patient assessments, all within a supportive and professional environment. You'll be part of a team led by Tamara, the Manager & Director, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning and skill application. The setting offers a dynamic workday with a bit of a playful challenge—keeping up with a bustling referral pipeline while delivering quality wound management. It's a rewarding opportunity for experienced wound care RNs who thrive on autonomy and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital atmosphere.

Location: West Bronx, NY
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
