Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Urology and Nephrology. This contract offers 12-hour night shifts, where you'll be responsible for managing patients on a 25-bed unit with an average daily census of 23. Your role involves monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms via telemetry, administering IV therapies and blood products, and supporting renal cases such as hemodialysis management. You will also implement infection control protocols, manage wound care, and assist with emergency response teams when needed. The unique aspect of this assignment is the opportunity to float within the Medical Surgical department to meet the hospital's staffing needs, all while working in a Level I trauma center setting. This role is ideal for seasoned RNs with at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy a variety of clinical tasks.
