Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel contract in the Hawaii Transitional Care Unit, where you'll be providing vital support in a 32-bed unit. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, with varied schedules and floating opportunities to Med Surg and Surgical Peds units. Expect to utilize Meditech EMR, manage wound vacs, chest tubes, and feeding devices like G-Tubes and NG tubes. The environment offers the chance to work closely with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8 during nights and 1:6 during the day, with a focus on maintaining professional nursing attire at all times. Candidates should have 2 to 10 years of experience, hold Hawaii licensure prior to start, and be flexible with shift lengths and days. No ACLS required unless agency-specific. Orientation will be provided for each unit to ensure you’re fully prepared for your role.
