Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at Princeton Hospital as a registered nurse in the Med Surg / Acute Care unit, focusing on orthopedic, neurological, and general surgery patients. This assignment offers a chance to work on a 42-bed unit with patient ratios of 5-6:1, performing post-operative assessments, pain management, and wound and drain care. You'll experience a consistent night shift schedule of 12 hours, every other weekend, within a supportive environment that occasionally requires floating to similar units across facilities within a 25-mile radius. Expect to work with equipment like Alaris infusion pumps and Omnicell medication carts, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system. The role emphasizes hands-on patient interaction, with a focus on providing meticulous post-op and overflow medical care in a setting recognized for excellence in cardiac, stroke, and orthopedic care.
