Job Description:

This travel assignment for a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a well-established hospital environment with a primary focus on adult patients recovering from surgery, managing conditions like sepsis, high fall risks, COPD, and CHF. You will be responsible for monitoring patient recovery, administering medication, managing chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, and blood products, and performing assessments that require critical thinking and attention to detail. The role involves night shifts of 12 hours, starting in the evening and working overnight, with opportunities for overtime after 52 hours on a 48-hour schedule. The unit operates with experienced leadership and CNA support, providing a supportive setting to sharpen your skills. This assignment is unique because of the potential to float within the hospital’s different campuses and the need for prior EPIC charting experience, including a checkoff class. Location: Evansville, Indiana
