Job Description:

Join a bustling level I trauma center as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in a role that offers a mix of diverse cases and a lively hospital environment. You'll work in the main operating room, supporting a variety of procedures including trauma, transplant, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, and robotics. The position features four 10-hour shifts per week, typically from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holiday responsibilities. Expect to be on call up to twice a month, sometimes stepping into emergency situations at short notice. The role demands adaptability, as you'll float between units to meet clinical needs, and experience with neuro, ENT, and robotic cases is highly preferred. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to sharpen your surgical skills in a cutting-edge, fast-paced setting that's part of a renowned teaching hospital. Previous experience in Level I trauma centers, familiarity with EPIC charting, and holding valid radiation badges are essential for success in this role.
