Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers the opportunity to work as a Stepdown Nurse in a busy unit that requires floating to different areas. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse mixture of surgical and medical patients, sometimes caring for neuro cases. The role involves night shifts of 12 hours, where you'll handle equipment such as bladder scanners, IV and PCA pumps, SCDs, bipaps, and vapotherms. Expect to titrate vasoactive drips including neosynephrine and amiodarone, while maintaining a nurse-patient ratio of approximately 1:3. This assignment is perfect for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced environment and value a variety of clinical challenges, all while making a difference during overnight hours.
