Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a unique opportunity to work within a bustling Family Birth Center that combines labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care in a single location. As an experienced Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for managing both mother and baby in a level 2 nursery environment, with the added challenge of coordinating care during 12-hour night shifts. Expect to utilize your proficiency in both labor/postpartum and nursery care, supporting mothers through delivery and caring for newborns in a setting that emphasizes family-centered, rooming-in models. The role involves participating in approximately 50-65 deliveries each month, with a focus on comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations in an LDRP department that values cross-trained RNs capable of circulating in C-section cases and providing couplet care. This assignment combines clinical skill with a focus on maternal and neonatal well-being, offering a fulfilling experience in a dynamic environment.
