Job Description:

Join a busy Respiratory Medical Unit in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential care to patients with respiratory and other medical conditions. This contract offers an engaging opportunity to manage acute and chronic respiratory cases, including pneumonia, COPD, and lung diseases, along with occasional GI, diabetic, stroke, and surgical patients. The role involves floating to other units and hospitals within the network, ensuring versatility and skill development. You'll be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team with responsibilities including patient assessments, administering medications, and participating in daily rounds. This assignment is perfect for a nurse with at least 18 months of recent experience in respiratory or medical-surgical nursing, holding an Alabama or Compact license, and certified in BLS.
