Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Augusta, Georgia. This contract role involves working overnight 12-hour shifts, providing care for both neonatal/infant and adult patient populations. You'll be engaged in managing labor (vaginal and C-section deliveries), multiple births, postpartum hemorrhages, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and D&C procedures. Expect to work in a team-based environment on a unit featuring 16 L&D beds with an average daily census of 15, along with a dedicated 6-bed triage area. The setting utilizes Epic electronic health records, with Pyxis medication system and SBAR communication.
