Job Description:

Join as a PACU Registered Nurse for a contract assignment that offers 10-hour day shifts, giving you plenty of time to explore local sights. This role involves managing post-anesthesia recovery patients in a dedicated unit that occasionally requires emergency weekend coverage. You'll be responsible for monitoring patient recovery, administering medications, and ensuring smooth transitions from anesthesia. While the unit typically remains closed on weekends, emergency coverage may occasionally be needed, and rotating holiday call keeps things interesting. The position also offers the opportunity to care for pediatric patients and requires on-call duties one night per week and one weekend per month. Hospital-provided scrubs and necessary certifications (ACLS & BLS) are required for this engaging and fast-paced role.
