Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in St. Louis as a step down registered nurse on a day shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy step down unit with a 1:4 patient ratio, where you will be responsible for managing patients requiring intricate ventilator care, titration of pressors, insulin drips, and other advanced monitoring. Your expertise in titrating vasopressors, sedation medications, and performing procedures such as managing tracheostomy vents, art line access, external pacemakers, and chest tubes will be essential. The assignment is designed for nurses with at least two years of recent bedside experience and current certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. The role includes float within scope to lower acuity floors as needed, ensuring varied and engaging daily responsibilities.
