Job Description:

This PreOp Registered Nurse role involves providing specialized care on the third floor PACU, focusing on patient recovery following surgical procedures. You'll be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering blood products, ensuring infection control protocols, and handling specimens with attention to detail. The position offers a 4x10-hour shift schedule with rotating days, providing a balanced work-life rhythm. Unique to this assignment is the potential to float to the main OR, adding variety to your daily tasks. You'll experience the pace of a busy surgical recovery unit while maintaining a professional, patient-focused approach in a welcoming environment.

Location: Washington, DC
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day shift from 06:00 to 18:30)
Duration: 36 hours per week, with a 13-week assignment
