Job Description:

Join the team at Lawnwood Regional as a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts. This role offers the opportunity to work in a bustling, well-equipped unit with 437 beds and a dedicated staff of 60 professionals. You will be providing critical respiratory treatments and evaluations for patients dealing with conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema, using advanced equipment like Servo I ventilators and Hamilton V 60. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred, and a background in trauma care can give you an edge. This assignment is perfect for critical thinkers who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating within a close-knit team. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, proactive in their approach, and comfortable working with a skilled staff of RRTs, including supervisors and management during both day and night shifts.
