Job Description:

Join the Gainesville Hospital Rehab Unit as a dedicated physical therapist on a travel contract. In this role, you'll be working on a 30-bed unit alongside a team of 22 professionals, focusing on patient evaluations, therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional activities, and patient education. The job offers a unique chance to be involved in a startup environment for a new hospital and unit, providing opportunities to shape rehab services from the ground up. You'll be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, utilizing equipment like balance and gait systems, and documenting with Meditech (Expanse). The shift is 8 hours during daytime hours only, with a forty-hour workweek, and includes weekend rotations.
