Job Description:

This trip to Wheeling's MedSurg unit offers a chance to step into a busy hospital setting where you'll be responsible for managing a varied patient load during 12-hour night shifts. You will oversee post-op ortho, neuro, and general surgical patients, including those with COPD, pneumonia, and infections. The role includes working alongside an experienced team, including a clinical assistant, CNA staff, and in-house specialist teams such as IV, pharmacy, and RT teams, ensuring smooth patient flow through transfers, assessments, and monitoring. Expect a full patient assignment with occasional cross-unit float opportunities, all while enjoying the charm of a city known for historical sites and lively culture, all under pleasant weather typical for this time of year.
