Job Description:

This radiation therapy position involves administering precise radiation treatments in accordance with physician directives and treatment plans. The role requires operating complex equipment, adjusting controls for accurate dosing, and assisting medical professionals in preparing treatment plans based on detailed patient data and anatomy. You will construct immobilization devices, maintain meticulous records of radiation doses and equipment settings, and perform both routine and advanced treatment procedures such as stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy. Ensuring safety through appropriate protective measures and quality assurance protocols is essential. Additionally, you'll provide clinical instruction and evaluation for students, with Elekta experience being a plus. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute directly to patient care through technical expertise and attention to detail—think of yourself as the conductor of precise radiation symphonies.
